Dear Deb:

What a great bunch of photo's!!!!!!!  it brings back such great memories!     

You were so lucky to have such a great father.  He took care of all of you girls so well.  He was one of the hardest working men I've ever known.  I had the distinct honor of living with all of you while I was getting divorced.  You will never  know how important and secure I felt at your home during that sad time.  

Your dad was always making things at 810 Rosedale beautiful.  It was so nice to see a picture of the pond!!!
Many a day and night we sat by it!  And did I mention how handsome?  And to think we all ran around half naked when he came home from work while we were getting ready to do who knows what.

I hate this time in our life because I miss everybody!  I wish our parents could be healthy and here with us for longer.

Anyway, How proud you must be to have had a dad like Bob!!  How proud I know he was to have a daugher like you.  The apple doesn't fall far from the tree when it come to a hard worker.  I know where you get it from.

May you find comfort in the days ahead.  I know how hard it is.  I know how much he will be missed.  
When I had finally lost both of my parents I felt like an orphan and still do!  I still cry when a thought comes into my head about a memory of home.

TOM AND DEBBIE-  I have a tremendous amount of personal POWER, which comes from above and is channeled thru me. It is now with you both. The honor of taking care of your loved ones near the end of the Road is one of life's great gifts and a powerful punctuation to those who are Devoted. The two of you, in your families and the way you love and appreciate your friends is an incredible joy to behold. To be in that group, for me, is the greatest comfort a man can feel.You are truly Angels on this earth and the fact that you're back together is an affirmation that ours is a spiritual world. Deb, when my Dad left in 1980, the judge of Royal Oak was my mom's boss. He told the gathering that "Now you get to begin your NEW relationship with him". That notion sank in right away and has given a measure of Peace to countless people around the world when I passed it on to them. What's happening now to the two of you is no longer about Roberto the Great. It's about the legacy of a great daughter who will carry that Light forward.You are being Promoted. Tom, you and your life is an inspiration to me now as it was in the past. I am blessed beyond all belief to count you as a Brother. Call me anytime and certainly keep me updated. I LOVE YOU BOTH! I am so sorry for your loss. Some of my favorite childhood memories are of our families getting together for a holiday celabration, a birthday or just because it was the weekend. 
Since moving to Indiana I had not had a opportunity to see Bob but I often wondered how he was. He will be missed by many. You are all in our prayers. I hope to see you all in August.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of your wonderful dad.  Uncle Bob was so much fun to be with.  As kids we didn't get together to play a lot but whenever I did have a chance to go to your house it was always fun to see what new thing your dad had built.

I am so sorry....but I am glad you got the last week or so to be with him.  Especially getting to read to him....that should give you some peace of mind at least.

I have many fond memories of Bob.(MR. Heroux) Growing up with his girls in RO and sitting in their kitchen as if it was yesterday. Always getting after us to clean up our messes. I especially remember how beautiful he made his garden. It may have been the most beautiful in the neighborhood. Bob was a fantastic Father and raised a wonderful family. They just don't make them like Bob any more.

To my oldest and favorite neighbors--My deepest sympathy goes out to all of you.  I have not seen Mr. Heroux in years, but my memories of him are in tact.  He was a part of my growing up, and I always felt included in the good things he did for his kids: the swimming pool, the ice rinks, the tether ball he set up, and of course him yelling at us to stay out of his impeccably tended gardens.  Here's to you Bob!  You will be missed.

Bob spent his time on earth helping others enjoy their time on earth. Enjoy your next journey Bob, you have earned it.

I and my family have so many wonderful memories of laughter, cookouts, motor homes in our driveways, and sitting up till late at night talking, playing cards and sharing a beer (or two) with Uncle Bob.  I will never ever forget the  sound of his booming, smiling voice saying "Oh man, Dorie!!!"  How happy she was when he would visit us here.  Such a kind, loving person, who my mom always said reminded her of their father... a big heart, a great sense of humor, and so much fun to be with. All of us here on Cape Cod are missing you, Uncle Bob.
