ZIMMER, Dale L., age 63, of Rochester Hills, died suddenly on January 29, 2012. A graduate of M.S.U., he retired from the Troy Community Schools in 2005 as an Educator for 35 years. For the last 31 years of his career he served as the Band Director for Smith Middle School in Troy. Beloved husband of Beverly, his wife, his partner and friend since August 30, 1969. Brother of Lila (George) Lutz, Donald Zimmer and Joyce (Earl) Salminen. Also surviving Dale are his nieces and his many friends. Funeral Service 5:00 p.m. Wednesday at PIXLEY FUNERAL HOME, 322 W. University Drive in downtown Rochester. Visitation Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of Service.
