Dan Phillips, 67, of Oakland Twp. MI passed away on July 10, 2015. He was born in Pontiac, MI on April 3, 1948. Dan graduated from Rochester High School. He married Vicki Vieau on March 20, 1971. Dan worked as a teacher and mechanic for L’Anse Creues Public Schools. He was a member of the Romeo Lions Club and had a passion for helping others. Dan was survived by his wife Vicki, children Daniel Phillips, Kellie Phillips, Haley Phillips, grandchildren; Grace Muchenhirn, Georgia Muchenhirn, Cameron Phillips, Trevor Phillips, Allison Phillips, Addison Grassa, Harrison Grassa, siblings; Agnus Evans, Nancy Richmond, Rodger Phillips, and Ted Phillips. Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 14, 2015 from 2-8pm at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr. Rochester, MI 48307. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday July 15, 2015, 11am at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church, 3000 28 Mile Rd., Washington, MI 48094. In lieu of flowers memorial donations suggested to the Romeo Lions Club or Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church.
