David Joseph Bartlo, of Rochester Hills, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.
David was a proud graduate of the University of Detroit, where he completed his MBA. He dedicated much of his career to Chrysler, where he worked as a manager, with his last role being in product development.
David served in the U.S. Army in Germany and later continued his service as a Captain in the Army Reserves.
Beyond his professional achievements, David had a passion for marksmanship and enjoyed shooting as a hobby. He and his beloved wife, Ulla, shared a deep love for travel, exploring 55 countries together over the course of their marriage.
David is survived by his devoted wife, Ulla, with whom he shared 53 wonderful years of marriage since May 28, 1971. He is also lovingly remembered by his children, Erika Kitchens and Kevin Bartlo (Jaime), and his cherished grandchildren, Anders and Kacey.
David will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
