The son of Kevin and Kim; brother of Mike and Sean; grandson of Derethea Hoban of Cranberry Twp., PA , Nick Hoban of Clearwater, FL, Kenneth and Doris Cope of Warren, OH; Dillon is dearly loved by 11 aunts and uncles and 16 cousins. He continues to inspire his classmates from Rochester Adams High School where he loved playing football, and being with his many friends. Dillon was an active member of Kensington Community Church, Troy, MI and former member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Sharon, PA. Funeral service was held on May 20, 2009 at Kensington Community Church where over 800 people attended and paid a lasting tribute to Dillon; Memorial contributions may still be made to the Dillon Cope Memorial Fund, 1900 McCormick Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48306. The fund has been utilized to improve outdoor landscaping at Adams High School including a special "Inspiration Garden". All who knew Dillon were in love with him. He had an uncanny ability to connect with people and his impact remains strong in the school and community. His sense of humor and endearing personality.... his long eyelashes and sparkling blue-grey eyes.... his voice, his unbeatable smile.....his toughness and courage and faith....We all miss him so much. Three years have passed by so quickly, yet each day seems to pass so slowly. Words cannot begin to express our feelings, nor can words express our longings. Always Dill. Always. We love you._______________________________________________________________________________________Under "Special Links", find a new video by Dillon's cousin Alexandra, set to music chosen by Dillon's dad.
