Donna M. Zerbst

Donna was born the daughter of Arthur and Mazel (Brown) Lee on January 13, 1933 in St. Thomas, Ontario. Donna moved to the United States with her family at the age of 7 and grew up in Detroit. She graduated from Southwestern High School in Detroit, class of 1951. Donna married Raymond Zerbst on November 7, 1953 at Evangelical United Brethren Church in Detroit. The Airforce moved the newlyweds to Germany for three years and they traveled all over Europe making fond memories. She and Raymond returned to the United States and raised their family in Beverly Hills. Donna cherished her summers with her family at their cottage in Lake City. She and Raymond divorced in 1980. Donna had a career as a secretary for the Cranbrook Educational Community for over 20 years, retiring in 1995.

Donna loved to buy antique furniture at estate sales and garage sales and refinish them into beautiful pieces. She enjoyed reading and fashion, always well dressed.

Donna is survived by her children Jennifer (Creg) Easterly and Christopher Zerbst; grandchildren Madisen and Evan Easterly; her brother Robert Lee; and first cousin David Walling.

No public funeral services are planned at this time.
