She was born in Lac-Megantic, Quebec, Canada on December 9, 1931. She grew up on St. Joseph's Island in Ontario, Canada. Dorothy graduated high school and immediately went to work as a secretary. She worked full time for an insurance company
She married Conrad M. Nason on May 19, 1952 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. They had nearly 69 beautiful years together before he was called home to Heaven. After a four year separation, they are now together again.
Dorothy was in various ladies groups at Grace Baptist Church in Birmingham, MI. She loved being involved in the prayer chain and the Tuesday Ladies Bible Study at church. She loved classical music was also an avid reader and enjoyed going to the Rochester Library.
An only child, she is preceded in death by both parents, Lorne Andrews and Catherine MacLeod. She is survived by her children, Catherine (Kenneth) Rich and Jennifer Nason and her three grandsons, Andrew, Alec (Evelyn) and Aidan Rich.
A service at the graveside will be held at Mt. Avon Cemetery in Rochester, MI, on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at noon.
