Dear Patsy and family,
I send you all my deepest sympathy on the passing of Mel. He was such a wonderful man and so giving of his time, especially in Rotary, that he and Jim belonged to. And I remember the times he shared his love of fishing with our boys. I know you will miss him, but will treasure all the shared memories you have. With my love, Sally Fraser

Mel was one of the first members of Rotary to meet and greet me when I first joined with his welcoming smile and kind twinkling eyes! He will truly be missed. My deepest sympathy to the Gay family for the loss of your kind and gentle patriarch whose star is shining bright in heaven!
Sincerely ~ Renee Cortright

I first meet Mel at the Rochester Rotary Club meetings. He was always the first guy there setting-up the room for the meeting. We always kinda looked out for Mel, because the Sheriff's would crack a joke about Mel, and of course Mel couldn't hear what was said. Always had a kind word, and liked his Michigan football.

Mel has been and always will be missed!

Dear Patsy, Becky, Cathy, Laurie and Kristi:

My deepest condolences on the death of Melvin, October 13, 2020. My own
memories of Melvin extend back to my early childhood over fifty years ago: he was an important part of my life.

While I am sad and broken hearted,
as you are, I take comfort that Melvin believed in Jesus Christ as his Savior, and now rests securely with Him in heaven forever.

To all of Melvin’s family, know I think of and pray for you during these difficult days. May God bless you now and always!

Love, Alan

Alan Majeska
