

Dulane Robert Coval Sr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, at the age of 88. Born in Utica, Michigan, on July 9, 1937, Dulane lived a life marked by quiet strength, unwavering love, and deep commitment to family.
Dulane’s life was rooted in integrity and generosity. He was a man of steady character, whose presence brought comfort and stability to those around him. His wisdom and humor will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to guide the family he held so dear.
He is survived by his beloved wife Joy (Reinhardt), with whom he shared 71 years of marriage—a testament to enduring partnership and devotion. Together, they built a legacy of love and resilience that lives on through their sons, Dulane Coval Jr. and Steven Coval, their wives, six cherished grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Dulane was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Coval, whose memory remains a treasured part of the family’s story. Jeffery is survived by his loving wife, Kelly Coval.
A service will be held at the Pixley Funeral Home, located at 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, Michigan, on Monday, October 27th, at 11:30 AM with guest arriving at 11:15 AM.
A private gathering of family and friends will be held to honor his memory. In lieu of flowers, Joy has requested that you consider donating to “Gifts for all God’s Children” charity, located in Rochester, Michigan.
