Eunice I. Watson

WATSON, Eunice I., age 98, died March 10, 2012. She was the loving wife of Arthur Watson, who preceded her in death in 1982. Loving mother of Robert (Carolyn) Watson of Grayling, Betty Hagen of Kingston, Barbara (Robert) Tyrell of Rochester, Larry (Elaine) Watson of Rochester and the late Richard (the late June) Watson. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and eight great, great-grandchildren. Sister of Robert Hoogerhyde, Mary Arndt and Wesley Hoogerhyde, the late Harold Hoogerhyde, the late John Hoogerhyde and the late Bernice Faye McCluskey. Beloved former mother-in-law of Marcia Watson. In her younger years, she worked for Henry Purdy at Purdy’s Drug Store and again for Tom Hunter at Hunter’s Drug Store both in Rochester. She was an accomplished hobbyist, specializing in oil paintings and delicate and intricately carved wood figures. Her family will receive friends at PIXLEY FUNERAL HOME, 322 W.
