Floyd Sutherland

Floyd was born in Lapeer, Michigan on February 22, 1933. He married Lillian Hall on February 18, 1955 in Rochester. Floyd worked as a carpenter for Avondale Schools for many years, and retired as a maintenance man from Tarno Manor Apartments in Royal Oak.

Floyd loved helping others. He and Lillian were part of a puppet ministry with local churches. Floyd liked camping, boating, snowmobiling, and just tinkering.

Floyd is survived by his wife Lillian of 64 years. He is predeceased by his parents and his brother Richard Sutherland.

Floyd’s family will welcome all for a visitation on Tuesday July 23rd from 12-2pm, and 5pm until the time of funeral service at 7pm at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 322 W. University Drive in downtown Rochester.
