Gertrude Elizabeth Fallon

FALLON, Gertrude E., age 80, of North Redington Beach, FL and Leonard, passed away November 4, 2010. She received her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Oakland University, specializing in reading. She was a high school teacher for the Dryden Community Schools, retiring in 1980. She owned and operated the Oasis Apartments in Gainesville, FL for 25 years. Beloved wife of the late John H. Fallon for sixty years. Dear mother of Martin Fallon of FL, Robert (Lisa) Fallon of Oxford, Michael (Susy) Fallon of Westlake, OH, Elaine (Robert) Karr of Scottsdale, AZ, Brian Fallon of Gainesville, FL, Elise (Ray) Erikson of Wakefield, MA and the late John Steven Fallon. Also survived by ten loving grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Sister of John (Linda) Gwizdala, Brenda (Jack) Krebs, Rose (Simon) Settle and Elizabeth Gwizdala. Funeral Liturgy 12 Noon Monday at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1400 Inglewood in Rochester; the family will receive friends at the church from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service. Visitation Saturday 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. at PIXLEY FUNERAL HOME, 322 W. University Drive in Rochester with a Rosary being said at 7:00 p.m. Sunday.
