Grace "Betty" Elizabeth Langdon

GRACE E. (BETTY) LANGDON, 93, formerly of Rochester, MI passed away peacefully on January 6, 2021 in Bay City, MI, at her daughters’ home with family by her side. She was born in Detroit, MI, on December 5, 1927. Grace graduated from Almont High School. She married Donaldson H. Sanday in June of 1946 and went on to marry Lloyd G. Langdon in October of 1963. She was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles #2634, Girl Scouts of America, Older Persons Commission and St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. Grace had a passion for knitting/crocheting, ceramics, sewing, traveling, NASCAR and loved playing euchre. She is survived by: her three daughters, Sharon (Gordon) Plummer, Lisa (Kelly) Toombs, Linda (Jim Halfacer) Willett; step-children James Langdon and Lona Turner; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruth Haacke, brother Robert Haacke, sister Nancy Linder and son Donaldson H. Sanday, Jr. Cremation has taken place. A graveside Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 1:00 pm, Fairview Cemetery, in St Helen, Michigan.
