Helen Louise Biroth

Helen was born the daughter of William and Mary (Zimmer) Wirick in Beaverton, Michigan on September 5th, 1937. She attended high school in Warren, Michigan. Helen met Edd Biroth through her sister and they were married on June 22nd, 1957. Helen served as the kitchen manager for Brookland Elementary School in Rochester Hills for nearly 40 years.

Helen loved her family. One of her biggest enjoyments was buying them a special Christmas ornament every year. She enjoyed up north at their retirement home. Helen liked to go to garage sales and do her word searches, puzzles and solitaire.

Helen is survived by her husband Edd Biroth; children Wayne (Wendi) Biroth and Janet (Kevin) Krajewski; grandchildren Aaron (Ashley) Biroth, Adam (Danielle) Biroth, Allen Biroth, Ryan Krajewski, Kyle Krajewski, great- grandchildren Lauren Biroth, Belle Vermillion, Summer Vermillion, Elijah Krajewski, Leon Biroth, Eleanor Biroth, Lewis Biroth; Siblings Bill Wirick, Grover (Mary) Wirick, and Wanda (Bruce) Rix. Helen was predeceased by her parents; siblings Russell Wirick, Wesley Wirick, Ervin Wirick, Jane Granby, Donna Wirick, Victor Wirick, Willis Wirick, Robert Wirick, and Arlene Wirick.

Helen’s family will welcome all to visitation on Wednesday July 10th, 2024 from 3-8pm and on Thursday July 11th from 11am until the time of the funeral service at 3pm at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 322 West University Drive in downtown Rochester, Michigan. Interment will be on Friday July 12th, 2024 at 11am, at Christian Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
