

He was born on July 3, 1940, to Helen and Herman. After graduating from De La Salle High School in 1958, he went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree from Lawrence Technological University. Upon graduation he began his extensive career in the automotive industry. He worked in purchasing for several companies including Chrysler, Volkswagen, Rockwell and GM in Shanghi, China.
Herman was an avid antique collector and seller. He enjoyed spending time outside sculpting bonsai trees and feeding the birds and squirrels that would visit his yard.
He is survived by his sister Helen Ream, his ex-wife Patricia Molitor and their four children, Julie(Terry) Beale, Laurie Molitor, Karen(George) Alexopoulos, Susan Molitor, and six grandchildren; nephew Robert Ream, niece Debra Dupont, Shaun Dupont and Melissa Dupont. He is also survived by stepson Kevin Jin and predeceased by wife Liping Jiang.
Funeral arrangements will be held at Pixley Funeral Home, April 18th for immediate family. Herman will be laid to rest next to his parents at Sacred Heart Church Cemetery.
