My wife and I had the privilege of knowing this family from the early 70's . We have walked with them in the up's and downs of life in both Jay's and Dee's travels through this life. Our hearts are saddened and we commit them to the Lord.
I'll sadly miss the phone calls from time to time.

Jay Baby,
You are already missed!
For days I have been think of what to write and can not find the words to share with everyone the joy you brought to my life with your smile and zest for life.
There was never a dull moment when you where around.
The wine, the dinners, the cigars, the long nights crossing the North Atlantic, or just the simple flights between NJ and FL with one story after another, pure entertainment. Nobody but you could shut down all 3 gps’s stay on course and get them back online without breaking a sweet.
Your beautiful daughter and wonderful wife have lost more than just a good man, they lost a shinning light.
Your work is not done, you need to continue to help and guide them so they too may live such a full and prosperous life as yours.
Love Conny and John

Wow! We were very sorry to hear that Jay has left us. It was always a fun trip when he was on the crew. And just a hoot to be around. He came to an airport near us and picked me and my son, Sam up and took us for a tour of the New York airspace just the week before 911. It was a flight we will always remember.
Wishing you a Smooth flight West, Jay.

Jay, you are forever in my thoughts and prayers...
My heartfelt condolences to you and your family.
O Lord, Lamb of God, Son of the Father, we thank you for taking away the sins of the world. Have mercy on us today, and mercy on our loved one who has passed from this life into the next. Holy Lamb, who sits at the right hand of the Father, hear our prayer. Receive our dear one into the glory of your presence to enjoy rest until that final day when you return to judge the living and the dead. Amen.
