He generously gave his time to others, serving as a Boy Scout leader and mentor, always willing to teach, encourage, and lead by example. His kindness, patience, and willingness to help were never unnoticed. He dedicated 50 years to Scouting and was honored with the distinguished Silver Beaver Award.
A skilled mason and dedicated member of the Masonic Temple, he took great pride in the craft, principles, and fellowship it represented, living out its values through service, integrity, and brotherhood.
