John Paul Gaydash

JOHN PAUL GAYDASH, age 72, of Rochester, Passed away November 21, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. John was born on May 16, 1949 in Spangler, Pennsylvania, son of the late Paul and Helen (nee Drotor) Gaydash. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving at Fort Riley, Kansas, as well as other bases. On November 7, 1975, John married the love of his life, Nancy Kae Rollason. He earned a Masters of Science Degree from M.I.T. in 1990 and retired in 2008 as an executive with General Motors following 42 years of service to the company. He is survived by his dear wife Nancy, children Jeffrey Gaydash and Jenna (Ryan) Arnold, grandchildren Tyson Arnold, Avery Gaydash, Jack Arnold, Addie Gaydash and Ellie Gaydash. In honor of John’s wishes, public services will not be held at this time. Memorials in John’s memory may be made to Leader Dogs for the Blind.
