One of our founding members and longtime co-treasurer of our club, he was a fun, interesting, kind, extremely knowledgeable auto enthusiast / historian, photographer, and friend to many. He had a wealth of knowledge. He often mentioned his famous uncle, the auto designer Amos Northup who died at an early age.

He will be missed by many. As my wife Joyce said when she heard the news…. “Now John will be with his sweetheart!”

We knew John & Nancy when we were at First Congregational Church between 1970 & 1975. I was serving as the associate pastor at the church. My wife and I appreciated the way they served the church.
