On Tuesdays I always remember Kay.  For many years she came in to Salon Lamia to have her nails or hair done with Jennifer and I either came before or after her,  She wore the same color, pale pink, on her nails for a long while until I cajoled her into a different color occasionally or got her to wear a "diamond" on a nail or sparkles or at a holiday some jewell!!!  I think after awhile she really liked it even tho she would blush about doing it!!!  We would sit and chat through each of our appointments and tell stories of our past visit, hug and just spend time together.   That time was precious to me and Kay was a true lady, special person, lovely in every sense of the word, entertaining and a great hugger.  I miss those special times with her and I miss her.

Ill forever miss you! You had a heart of gold I bet heaven is so nice since you arrived ❤️

Thoughts and prayers to Kay's family at this difficult time.
Kay was my "nail buddy" at Salon Lamia for several years and she usually came in after my appointment and I would stay through hers because we had such a good time talking, sharing memories and pictures, stories and laughing with Jennifer.  I was the one who talked her into getting other colors on her nails, decorating them and once she tried it....she loved it and was the talk of her friends!  
Kay was a special lady....kind, funny, sweetness personified and I came to value her friendship and loved her.  She has been missed these last months. 
She will always be a wonderful memory to me and I cherish the times I spent with her.

There is so much to say about this amazing woman we all looked up to.  Aunt Katie lived only a few houses down from us. She would pick me up from school and I would hang out at her counter drinking milk out of my favorite pink cup. We would play Mahjong and sneak candy passed Uncle Tom. If I was lucky we would stop at her favorite place- Chicken Shack. This last summer I spent a lot of time with her outside on her swing. She shared many stories about her life, she lived one incredible life. I looked up to her in many ways, especially her positivity and outlook on life.  She will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Love you Aunt Katie.

Oh dear Kay, we had some good laughs! We met at the salon, where you used to drive Donna to. One day you had fallen and broke your wrist...After that is when I started to do your nails and hair. We were able to visit every two weeks when you'd come in to get your nails done...Pink was your all time favorite color of polish! Once in a while Sue and I would encourage you to step out of the box, and try a new color, like Red!And your hair cuts had to be short! Always enjoyed your appointments and text messages.
You were a lovely and generous person I feel blessed to have known you! I love you ❤... You'll be missed..

I worked at Burger King as a teenager and had the joy of meeting Tom and Kathleen when I was in high school. Kathleen was always such a sweet (and sassy) patron. From a beautiful graduation gift to many smiles and laughs, I had so many fond memories of Kathleen and I was lucky to stay in touch with her throughout the years. She will be so missed 💗

Most graceful woman. She appreciated the simple things.   As a little girl when I took an interest in something she cheered me on silently and powerfully.  Painting and drawing she got me an a paint and art paper quit chewing nails she brought me nail polish.   Lost touch for many years and reunited when walking past their home w my granddaughter and she was out picking up sticks in yard.  She was genuinely so happy.  We spent so much time last summer swinging in back watching the birds come to feeders then every night at dusk the same deer would come five feet from us and finish the seed after she would tell him “ go ahead “.  She brought me so much pleasure and understanding enjoy the simple moments.  I love this graceful woman.    💕💕
