Kathleen Marie Lowry, 56 of Lake Orion, Michigan passed away peacefully on November 27, 2020, in the presence of her loving husband and twin daughters. Kathy was born in Fort Riley, Kansas to Lawrence and Gail Fraser. She grew up in Sterling Heights, Michigan with her 3 siblings. She graduated from Stevenson High School in 1982. She met the love of her life Terry Lowry, they later married on May 9th, 1987. Together they built a life together they loved.
Kathy and Terry moved to Lake Orion, buying their home there and adopting their two daughters, Lauren and Nicole. Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family, puzzling, and traveling around the world, her favorites including Pawley’s Island, SC and Hydra, Greece. She graduated from Oakland University with a degree in Accounting, later becoming a CPA and working at Hunter CPA Group, where her coworkers became her second family. She was a member of Crown of Life Lutheran Church in Rochester Michigan and was very devoted to her faith. Her biggest passions in life were her family, faith, and taking care of those she loved.
She is survived by her husband Terry, daughters Lauren and Nicole, mother Gail Fraser, brother Lawrence (Elaine) Fraser, sister Christine (Martin) Cook, brother Kevin (Christine) Fraser, as well as many nieces and nephews. Kathy was preceded in death by her father Lawrence Fraser and brother Michael Fraser.
Visitation and service will be held at Pixley Funeral Home on Saturday December 5th 1-5pm, and Sunday December 6th 12-3pm with the service beginning at 3pm.
