Matuszewski, Klemens, age 103, of Oakland Township, Michigan, passed away February 13, 2017. He was born in Targowa Gorka, Poland on November 4, 1913. Klemens was a civil engineer for the Wayne County Bureau of Taxation. He was a World War II veteran, having served in both the Polish Army and the US Army. Klemens was also a WWII prisoner of war spending over 4 years a the Murnau POW Camp in Germany. He is survived by his children Ewa (Al Juocys) and Tadeusz (Linda); his grandchildren Emilia, Gabriela, Artur (Marta), and Klaudia (Maciej); his great-grandchildren Marcel and Maksymilian; and a host of relatives in Poland. Visitation to be held Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 3-8 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, MI. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 17, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Pixley Funeral Home. Inurnment will be taking place in Poznan, Poland.
