MARKWARDT, Marilyn Louise Staley, age 86, of Rochester Hills, passed away April 20, 2018. She was born in Troy, New York, on February 21, 1932. Marilyn was a co-owner of a Suburban Travel in Rochester. She was a member of the American Society of Travel Agents and she had a passion for travel, bridge, knitting, reading, and jigsaw puzzles. Marilyn is survived by her children, Debbie (George) Blaske, Dean (Erika) Markwardt, and Dale (Rhonda) Markwardt; her grandchildren, Steven (Katherine) Blaske, Philip Blaske, Molly Markwardt, Megan Markwardt, and Anthony Markwardt; and her great grandchildren, Chloe Blaske and Paisley Houfek. A Memorial Gathering will be held Monday, April 23, 2018 from 1:30-3 PM with a Memorial Service beginning at 3 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, MI.
