Marion Lorraine Barley

BARLEY, Marion L., age 85, of Rochester Hills, died March 28, 2014, at her home after a lengthy illness. A Rochester resident since 1956, she was a talented floral designer for 47 years and had been employed for Holland’s Floral in Rochester, Dick Patterson Flowers in Birmingham and Jacobson’s Flowers in Pontiac and Lake Orion, retiring in 1994. She was the wife of Harold H. Barley, whom she married July 9, 1950. Beloved mother of Michael (Gail) Barley, Gary (Mary) Barley, David Barley, Timothy Barley and Suzanne Harvey. Also surviving are her eleven grandchildren and her five great-grandchildren. Funeral Service 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at St. John Lutheran Church, 1011 W. University Drive in Rochester followed by interment in VanHoosen Jones,- Stoney Creek Cemetery. Her family will also greet friends from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until the time of services. Visitation Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at PIXLEY FUNERAL HOME, 322 W. University Drive in downtown Rochester.
