

Michael Patrick Fleming, age 69, of Bloomfield Hills, died July 22, 2017 at his residence, surrounded by his family. Michael was born on April 7, 1948 in Findlay, Ohio, son of the late Donald and Betty Jean (Williamson) Fleming, Jr. He was a member of the 1966 graduating class of Lakeshore High School in St. Clair Shores. Michael was an Accountant in the automotive industry. A man of many interests, Michael enjoyed golf, cooking (especially trying recipes from the Cooking Channel), the Detroit Tigers and St. Patricks’ Day. He was an avid car enthusiast and participated in the Woodward Dream Cruise, merging his hobby of sign making with his love of cars into a business of selling commemorative signs. He also enjoyed travelling with his family and had visited almost all of the United States. Most importantly of all, Michael will be remembered as a kind, gentle family man with a great sense of humor. He is survived by: his wife Sherri Katz; children Kelly (Michael) Ahern, Erin (Bryan) Miller, Patrick Fleming, Andrew Fleming, and Ian Fleming; step-daughter Marissa (Louis) Schuster; grandchildren Colin Ahern, Hanna Stenquist, Lauren Miller and Zachary Miller; brother Jim Adcox; and Michael’s buddy, his dog Ginger. Also survived by many friends. He will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 28, 2017, 11 a.m. at the Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Drive, Rochester, followed immediately by a celebration of life at the Washington Lions Banquet Center, 58000 Van Dyke, Washington, which all are invited to attend.
