Onorio M Carlesimo, 70, of Boyne City passed away on May 10, 2022. He was born in the contrada of Sarracina, Casalvieri Italy on July 5, 1951. He married Jill A. Nowakowski on August 27, 1982. Onorio worked in the construction industry his whole life. He started at an early age and worked in all phases from out in the field to in house estimating, project manager, and eventually owning his own company, Elite Construction. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing and his cars. He built the first home Jill and him lived in with the help of his brothers-in-law and father-in-law. He then built the home his sons grew up in Dryden, MI. He took great pride in maintaining his home and the 10 acres the home sat on. When it came to projects, he was always available to lend a hand to a friend.
He is survived by his wife Jill and sons Nicholas (Kathrine) and Matthew Carlesimo. He is survived by sisters Rosa (Rocco dec.) Giancarlo, Anna Marie (Doro) Vitella, Lucia (Gino) D’Angela, Iole (Albert) Checcone, and Josephine Carlesimo and his brother Antonio (Darlene)
Carlesimo. His sister-law Jan (Ronald) Boynton and brother-in-law Arthur (Elizabeth) Nowakowski, along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews along with many friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Alfredo and mother Cateria Carlesimo and brother Onorio.
Funeral to be held at St Augustine St Monica Church 4151 Seminole St. Detroit, MI 48214 – Viewing at 9:00 Mass at 10:00.
