Pat was the loving wife of Tom Kenney; beloved mother of Scott (Jill) Weigman; and step mother of Tom (Donna) Kenney, Rick Kenney, and Lisa (Jason Pate) Kenney; caring grandmother of Haley and Zane; and step-grandmother of Sarah, Richard, and Ryan; and sibling of Barbara (Jack) Tierney, and John (Mildred) Garcia. Pat was predeceased by her parents John and Anna (Brown) Garcia, and her brother Gaitley Garcia.
Pat was born the daughter of John and Anna (Brown) Garcia in Baltimore, Maryland on April 18, 1941. At age 16, she was a regular dancer on the Buddy Dean Show. She graduated from Patterson High School in the class of 1959 and later earned her bachelors degree from Oakland University where she was a member of the Golden Key National Honors Society. Pat worked as an automotive sales engineer for Lydall Westex for many years. She married Thomas Kenney on July 7th, 2001 in Clarkston, Michigan.
Pat loved learning her family history, doing genealogy, and reading books.
Pat’s family will welcome all for a visitation on Thursday from 3-8pm and on Friday from 10am until the time of funeral service at 10:30am at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 322 W. University Drive in downtown Rochester, Michigan. Interment will follow at Guardian Angel Cemetery.
