Randolph Edward Mager, a beloved resident of Rochester, Michigan, passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on April 22, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan, Randy was a cherished husband, father, and brother.
Randy graduated from Osborn High School in the class of 1961 where he was a standout baseball player. His love of athletics continued throughout his life, becoming a top-ranked squash player in the state, playing softball, coaching little league and enjoying his weekly golf league. Randy preferred to be outdoors, tending his gardens, maintaining the land around his home, hunting with his friends, or just enjoying a cigar while talking cars and watching his many bird-feeders. His love for animals was profound, especially for horses, which held a special place in his heart.
Randolph is survived by his devoted wife, Marisa (nee Ercolani) Mager; his children, Kristin Mager, Gretchin Mager, Brad Mager, and Zachary Mager; and his sister, Corrine MacDonald. He was predeceased by his brother, James Mager.
