

FRANK, Ray B., age 94, of Rochester Hills, died December 16, 2011. He was born November 20, 1917, to the late Loren and Alberta (Yuren) Frank on the family farm in Rochester where he lived his entire life. Graduating from Rochester High School in 1936, he attended Lawrence Tech and was a retired store manager with the A&P Corporation. Always active with the Boy Scouts of America, as a youth he was an Eagle Scout and as an adult was a Troop Leader. He was a life-time member of St. Paul’s United Church and was a choir member since 1939. He also was a member of the Rochester Tuesday Musical and the Rochester-Avon Historical Society, as his ancestors were some of the earliest settlers in Rochester. On August 10, 1945, he married Janice S. Guthrie, who survives him. Loving father of Leslie (the late James) Cone of Centennial, CO, Daniel (Nancy) Frank of Dearborn and the late Loren Frank. Also surviving Ray are his eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services 11:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 620 Romeo Street in Rochester. Visitation Wednesday 6-9 p.m. at PIXLEY FUNERAL HOME, 322 W. University Drive in downtown Rochester.
