HANES, Robert William, 71, of Rochester Hills, MI passed away on June 21, 2017 with his family by his side. He was born in Pontiac, MI on January 18, 1946. Robert graduated from Avondale High School. He was a member of the US Army during the Vietnam War. Robert retired from GMC truck and coach where he was a group leader. He enjoyed evening sunsets at the park, motor cycles, collecting and listening to his favorite old country songs. He is survived by his daughter Veronica and her husband Rick; his grandchildren Jeffrey, Chase, and Matthew; Brothers Jim and Barney Hanes and sister Mary Rae.
