Debbie - Scott and I were sorry to hear of Roger's passing.  He was a man filled with the Fruit of the Spirit...gentle, good and kind.  He was a special man and such a wonderful example of how a godly man loves his wife.  Wish we could be near you now.  Sending all our love.  Pam Leichtling

I remember taking ballroom dance class at Kensington with Debbie and Roger.  In life they performed a perfect dance!  The dance of love, support, honor, dignity, and a great love for our Lord.  Roger's sweet spirit shone through during this illness and Debbie a true example of love and honor.  I am privileged to have witnessed this beautiful couple and the grace and love they represent.

To Roger's family: I haven't seen Roger for many, many years but I vividly remember him as we grew up together and attended the same school in Iowa. It was a small, close knit school and I remember my parents were also friends with his and my brother a friend of Roger's. Roger grew into a very good person and usually the smartest person in our class. He was the one who always set the bar the rest of us tried to reach. I'm glad, reading the tributes already posted, that he continued to have a good and productive life with lots of friends and family. The world is diminished by his passing. May he rest in peace and enjoy the heavenly home he deserved. 

Debbie,  I was so sorry to hear of Roger's passing.  He was a fine man and a wonderful husband.  Your love for each other, was so very special.  You are in my thoughts and prays.

Debbie, I worked for Roger for a couple years at GM.  And our families attended Kensington Church together at Adams High School for a few years.  When Roger was ill and I saw you walking him around town, it was so touching--you clearly loved him and stayed by his side.  What a great testimony!

Dear Debbie,
We are very much saddened by the news of Roger. We have so many wonderful memories with you and Roger. Our times in Mexico are cherished. As also, our times at your house partying and reminiscing stories of our wonderful times in Mexico with other expats who had shared similar times in Mexico with food, laughs and drink!  We remember a bike ride/walk in Stony Creek Park which was so special to us. Then there are the occasions when you and Roger had come to our house in Troy and helped us celebrate our anniversary and retirements. We can't forget learning salsa together either. Even though we don't remember much about how to salsa. Was that, one-two or one-two-three? LOL. You and Roger were more the stars in the class. 
Roger was always a gentleman, a delightful and interesting man to talk to with. You two had such a beautiful bond. It was amazing too that Roger would select and buy clothing for you Debbie! He had excellent taste in clothing and also in selecting a beautiful, talented lady in his life.
Right now we are in Hernando, Florida. We will always fondly remember Roger. Debbie, you are in our hearts and prayers. Hopefully, you feel the spirit of our hugs even though we will not be able to be at the memorial for Roger.

I am so sad for you and your family right now. Even though we know this sweet man is face to face with Jesus, happy and whole and waiting for us, it still is a great loss here on earth. God is faithful Who has told us that we have HOPE and so we do not mourn as those without hope. We anchor ourselves with that promise. Praying for all of you.
