Aunt Rosemary was truly a classy lady and always had a special spark to her. She was talented, beautiful and kind to everyone. I never heard her raise her voice.  Every Christmas Eve she and uncle Ray would bring grandma and grandpa for our Christmas visit.  It really made a lasting memory. Although Rosemary did not drive, she was always ready to help family members or neighbors. She spoke a lot of visiting a neighbor who had cancer.  She helped at the rectory organizing paper work.  She came to Texas during our dad's last days and was with him when he passed.  I sure hope her brothers were there to help her cross over when she passed.  Since Fr. Sid was here to officiate the funeral for our dad,  he and Rosemary stayed  here for a few days, he baptized our grandaughter .  The other beautiful part was that Rosemary was able to celebrate with us and even helped pick out Ever's baptism dress.  She got to shop at the famous GALLERIA.
We sure take a lot for granted when loved ones are with us.Then after their passing, we find ourselves so grateful for all the cherished memories and all their wonderful qualities that we hope  to  develop ourselves.
So , so happy I was able to visit with her in June, my last cherished memory of "our classy aunt".
Aunt Rosemary, we miss you very much.

Dear Aunt Rosemary, You were not only a Great Aunt to me you were like a good friend. I will cherish our talks and the precious time we were able to share. I know how much you loved Christmas and each year you had the most beautiful themed and decorated Christmas tree. What a special day, taking  your heavenly journey home on Christmas day. You did it your way and with class.  You were and will always be an inspiration to me, strong, independent, patient, kind, and loving. You will be dearly missed Aunt Rosemary~ I Love You ~ 

Sheila and I were saddened to hear of Rosemary's passing.  She led a long, colorful life, and was always dignified and engaging, always interested in "what was new with you."   Although we had not seen Rosemary for some time, we have been reminiscing about, and recollecting, the times that we did see her!  
Back in the day, there were several times that we shared a table at a wedding reception or funeral luncheon with "Uncle Ray" and "Aunt Rosemary," and although they were technically not our aunt and uncle, both of them assuredly made one feel as if they were.  What an adventure it could be to sit at the table with Ray, Rosemary, Uncle DeeDee and Aunt Mary (!!!).  Those in the family need no further elaboration! 
Rest in peace, Rosemary, for a life well lived, a personality larger than life and that great sense of humor.

     Rosemary was one of the best of the best!  Devoted wife of uncle Raymond (Dec. 1997).   While providentially she was not to bear children, she made all of us feel we were family and loved much.   
      All who encountered her on life's journey as family, friend, neighbor, or acquaintance, would experience in her a very gracious and caring personality, an overall genuine acceptance of all as they are, and wishing for only good things for everyone.  She would listen with loving interest and patience to so many, who in turn, found in her, a caring, and supportive friend and neighbor. She believed in God, prayed nightly for all, by name, especially those going through challenging days. 
    She was always diligent and worked in Crowley's eye glass dept , and  skillfully managed the household budget with much success.  She was down to earth, never pretentious and often would sew/alter her own and, other's wardrobe items as favors.  She was  always caring and sharing as her list of charities would show.  She would allow time to enjoy her baby grand piano to the enjoyment of others also who might hear her. Aunt Rose was from a family of skilled musical talent like her dad Arwed, and brothers Irwin and Raymond. She was sociable, elegant but humble, a gracious hostess and visitor to many over the years as fun loving and a fun to be with, and enviably... beautifully dressed.  She enjoyed Summer and planting her flower garden for many years, even in her nineties.  Never one to complain, she bore life's crosses with great and exemplary  patience. We all were saddened to watch her begin to decline with age and failing health; and much more saddened to hear from her loved nephew Roger that she left us, in her sleep, on Christmas Day morning.  God gives her the gift now of eternal life.
   We love you dear Aunt Rosemary, and you are missed deeply by your growing  family of nieces and nephews. We will always remember you, and be thankful for you in our lives!
