Rosemary P. Nicholson

Born to August and Monica Arrigo on October 12, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, Rosemary grew up in the Chicago area. It was there she met the love of her life, Kenneth Nicholson, at a dance hall. They married on May 1, 1954, and shared 67 wonderful years together until Kenneth's passing in 2021. Their love story was a true testament to devotion and partnership.

Rosemary had a career in the billings department at Henry Ford Hospital. She was a talented seamstress who loved sewing and creating her own patterns. A spirited Bridge player, Rosemary also cherished time spent with friends and family around the game table.

Above all, Rosemary found her greatest joy in her family. She embraced her roles as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother with grace and love.

She is survived by her children: Susan (David) Stroud, Karen (Patrick) Shannon, and Kenneth (Judy) Nicholson; her grandchildren: Don, Kristen, Keri, Mike, Kyler, and Melena; and 15 great-grandchildren who were her pride and joy.

A visitation for Rosemary will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, Michigan 48307. There will be a funeral mass for Rosemary the following day, July 30, 2025, at 11:00 am at St. Andrews Catholic Church, located at 1400 Inglewood Ave, Rochester, MI 48307, with a time of visiting beginning at 10:30 AM. Rosemary will be laid to rest at Van Hoosen Jones Stoney Creek Cemetery.
