SHANE MICHAEL BACON, age 47, of Warren, died suddenly April 17, 2021. Shane was born on September 3, 1973 in Midland. Beloved fiancé of Lisa Guy, who shared his life and family. He is the loving father of Shane Bacon, Nicholas Bacon and Harlie Bacon; Beloved son of Sheri and George Christopoulos; Dear brother of Kali (Eric) Lamkin, Justin (Kalli) Christopoulos, Jamie (Chris Sweeney) Christopoulos, Corey Christopoulos, Jordan (Jason) Alvarado, uncle of Jameson Sweeney, Autumn Sweeney, McClane Sweeney and Brady Lamkin, and grandson of Roy and Elsie Bacon.
He graduated from Sterling Heights High School in 1991 and was employed in HVAC repair & installation, though he had mastered many skilled trades. Shane enjoyed music, playing the guitar and drums, and cooking for his family and friends. An avid outdoorsman, Shane could often be found camping, hunting, fishing or riding his motorcycles.
Shane had an amazing passion for life and new adventures. He spread his energy, joy and kindness wherever he went. Shane always remained young at heart, had an infectious smile and was a source of great comfort and joy to his family and friends. Talented in so many ways, he always found time to help others in need. Throughout his life, he did the Lord's work by helping others, giving of himself and showing kindness and charity to all. His family and friends love him dearly and he will be sorely missed, but never forgotten. He is in the Lord's hand now, forever at peace, saved by Jesus.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 11 am, at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Drive, Rochester. Interment to follow at Guardian Angel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 22nd and Friday, April 23rd from 1 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
