Susan Kell

KELL, Susan M., age 66, of Rochester, joyfully answered the summons of her Heavenly Father on All Saints Day, November 1st, and took her place among the Saints of Heaven and began Life Eternal. Susan was a committed Christian whose faith and the promise of the Cross sustained her throughout her life here on earth on many occasions. An accomplished “artist who taught”, she played a vital role with the Paint Creek Center for the Arts and was active with her church where she taught Bible classes and had been a Stephen’s Minister. She was the beloved wife of Duane G. Kell, whom she married June 28, 1968, and who preceded her in death on May 1, 1996. Loving mother of Meghan (Eric) Pott and the late Matthew (Gina) Kell. Special grandmother of Andrew, Samuel, Benjamin, Charlotte, Jack and Daniel. Daughter of Michael and the late Jean Gammicchia. Sister of Mary Ellen (Larry) Huser, Judith (David) Luzon and Patricia (Mark) Sheldon. Funeral Services 12 Noon Wednesday at St. John Lutheran Church, 1011 W. University Drive in Rochester followed by interment in VanHoosen Jones – Stoney Creek Cemetery. Visitation Monday and Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at PIXLEY FUNERAL HOME, 322 W.
