Thi Thu Hong Nguyen

Born in Saigon, Vietnam, on September 14, 1958, Hong was a woman of remarkable intellect and drive. She distinguished herself early in her academic career by earning the highest entrance score for her bachelor's program, later earning degrees in both Agriculture and Business Management. Her professional life began at a prominent import-export company, where she excelled in accounting, finance, and strategic planning. She then channeled her entrepreneurial spirit into co-founding two successful companies alongside her husband.

In 1987, she married the love of her life, Le Kim Hoang. Their 38-year marriage was a testament to enduring love and partnership. Hoang was her unwavering support, caring for her devotedly through all of life's challenges, especially during her illness.

Hong’s life was defined by her immense capacity for love and self-sacrifice. She always put her family first, cared deeply for her neighbors, and was an active participant in her children's school parenting programs. She had a unique gift for motivating everyone around her to be a better version of themselves.

Diagnosed with lung cancer in 2020, Hong faced her illness with incredible resilience and strength, inspiring pride in her children, Vuong Hoang (Michael) and Van Hong (Joslyn). A source of profound happiness in her later years was witnessing her children become successful, get married and start their own families. She was overjoyed to be a grandmother and often expressed that she was content, having seen her family flourish.

She is survived by her loving husband, Hoang; her son, Michael, and his family; and her daughter, Joslyn, and her growing family. While Hong is no longer physically with us, her spirit of love, strength, and generosity will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Private cremation will be held on July 31, 2025. She requested that no formal services be held. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you honor Hong's memory with your prayers and positive thoughts.
