Tom was born the son of Anthony and Ernestine Connors on July 22, 1951, in Royal Oak, Michigan. He graduated from Kimball High School in Royal Oak, class of 1970 and married Carolyn O’Connor on November 8, 1974, at the St Louis Church in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Tom had a career as a tool and die maker and later worked in property management.
Tom enjoyed music, playing the drums in a band during the 1960’s, 1970’s and 80’s. Later on he taught himself to play the harmonica & guitar. He loved music, nature, animals, fitness, hiking and being outdoors, his true passion was gardening.
Tom is survived by his son Brian Connors; grandchild Rachelle Walker; siblings Maureen Percival, Theresa Elliot, Patricia Connors–Ruhig, Steven, Mary, James & Kathy Connors; as well as many nieces and nephews. Tom was predeceased by his wife Carolyn Connors; daughter Elizabeth Connors; and siblings Mike, Shirley, and Christopher Connors.
Visitation will be held on Saturday March 21st, 2026, from 9am until the time of the sharing of memories at noon at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 322 West University Drive in downtown Rochester, Michigan.
Memorial contributions may be made in Tom's honor to the Michigan Humane Society.
