

Thomas was born to Robert and Corinne Hayman on December 1, 1939, in London, Ohio, and spent his childhood and formative years in Detroit, Michigan. After high school, he proudly served in the United States Army for 11 years. Following his military service, Thomas embarked on a long and dedicated career with Chrysler, working as a payroll executive for 33 years.
Thomas met the love of his life, Geraldine, at a local bowling alley. The two were married in 1973 and shared 41 wonderful years together until Geraldine’s passing in 2014.
Thomas had a deep love for woodworking and spent countless hours in his workshop. He was also known for his enjoyment of computers, playing euchre with friends, and sharing breakfast nearly every day at Big Boy for over 20 years.
He is survived by his children, Tom and Sara Hayman; his beloved grandchildren, Sadie and Tommy Hayman; and his sister, Sally Lang. Thomas will be remembered for his warmth, dedication to family, and unwavering kindness.
A visitation for Thomas will be held Sunday, July 27, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, Rochester, Michigan 48307. A funeral service will occur Monday, July 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM, with an hour of visiting beginning at 10:00 AM. Thomas will be laid to rest at Cadillac Memorial Cemetery East.
