Truc Trung Le

Truc was born the son of Nghia and Tam (Dinh) Le in Saigon, Vietnam on September 19, 1962. Truc came to the United States with his family in 1975 and graduated from Pontiac Northern High School, class of 1980. Truc earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering and his master’s degrees from Oakland University. He married Hong Dang in July of 2000, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Truc and Hong raised their family in Rochester Hills. Truc had a successful career as a powertrain engineer for GM, Ford, Motorola, Continental, and Stellantis.

Truc loved his family and enjoyed traveling the world with them, especially to Japan. He practiced Shotokan Karate often and enjoyed it.

Truc is survived by his wife Hong Le; children Ashley and Sophia Le; siblings Mai Yates, Tin Le, Loan Ziomkowski (Michael), Phuong Wan (Kwok), Thanh Le, Tuan Le (Kristi), and Tu Le (Annie). Truc was predeceased by his parents.

A visitation will be held on Saturday April 11, 2026, from 1 pm until the time of the sharing of memories service at 4pm at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 322 W. University Drive in downtown Rochester, Michigan.
