Walter Anthony Grabowski

Walter was a cherished partner, brother, uncle, and friend who touched the lives of many with his kind heart and generous spirit. Walter graduated from Carl Brablec High School in 1975 and attended the Michigan Career Institute, where he became a skilled mechanic. He dedicated 30 years of his career to Chrysler, where he was known for his expertise and commitment.

Outside of his professional life, Walter had a passion for various hobbies. He enjoyed going to the casino, with Greektown being his favorite spot. He loved traveling, dining at different restaurants, shopping, and taking motorcycle rides.

Walter is survived by his beloved partner of 15 years Mark Middleton. He is also survived by his brothers Kazimer Grabowski, Michael (Kathy) Grabowski, and George (Denise) Grabowski, his sister-in-law Judy Grabowski, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by parents John Sr. and Janet Grabowski, his brother John Grabowski, and his sister Caroline Grabowski.

Visitation will be held at Pixley Funeral Home in Rochester on Friday, August 2nd, from 4pm to 7pm, followed by a service at 7pm.

Just as God created the moon and stars, he also created the son, my Walter was such a light.
