So sorry to learn about Bill's passing, Carol.  It was so nice to connect with you two at Abiding Presence after I separated from Bill during our early Oakland U. days after transferring to U of M to complete my studies.  I spent the better part of my high school years at Cousino trying to beat Bill in the breaststroke but could never even come close.  He was a great swimmer with a competitive drive and wonderful spirit.  I am confident God has him now.

Carol, Elena and I are so sorry for your loss.  Bill was both a friend and a neighbor, watching our house (and the rest of the neighborhood) during our Winter trips to Arizona.  I'll miss meeting with him in the middle of the street to solve the problems of the world.

Bill  was a very dear friend.  We go back to the high school days in Warren, at Cousino high school. I remember Bill to be a great swimmer.  He had one of the best times in the state in 1968.  It was difficult to hear about Bill's health, and yet I remember Bill always be a very positive upbeat person. He was just a great friend!

Bill was the first to welcome my wife and I to the neighborhood. It only took about 10 minutes for me to realize I was really going to hit it off with Bill as we had so many hobbies in common such as hunting and fishing and MSU. If I ever had a question related to my house, yard or hunting/fishing I knew I could go to Bill. He always had such great words of advise and always kept an eye on our house making sure there were no problems. Bill was more than a neighbor, he was a dear friend. He was so proud of his kids and spoke so highly of them.  I was always interested in hearing his stories of where his kids were and their camping adventures. 
He sure had the best garden in the neighborhood, which he was generous enough to extend our pickings to. I miss seeing Bill outside and talking to him in the yard as he would throw balls repeatedly for Drake (our dog). Bill really was the best, and will be sadly missed. RIP friend!

Bill was a great neighbor and good friend.  I especially enjoyed our long walks and talks through the neighborhood and going to Lipuma's for coney dogs and fries. Rest in peace dear friend.  Neighbor Bob (to the west).

Carol,  My deepest sympathy for your loss. The entire Nadlonek family are kind and generous people and I was in The the Ladies Guild of St Sylvester with Mary.  May God Bless and I will keep you all in my prayers.

The entire Dawda family is so sad to learn of Bill's passing--we grew up with the Nadlonek family, and my parents were dear friends of John and Mary, and  Bill, Bob and Jim were close friends with Tom, Tim and me. Fond memories, a great family.  Ed Dawda, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan

We are so sorry for your loss. Bill was the first to greet us and welcome us into our new home down the street. He was kind and generous and was a great neighbor. Our children miss seeing him on his daily walks, and we will always remember his kind ways and his laugh.

It is so sad to lose a long-time friend and '68 Cousino alumni.  So many memories come to mind when looking through our Heritage yearbooks.  Not only that, but I had the privilege of being Joel's godparent with Bill.   Smile down on all of us from Heaven.  My sympathies to the family.

I was so sorry when Joel called and said that Bill had passed away.  He was such an awesome guy and Joel could not have had a better Godfather.  God bless you, Carol, and hope your memories help you through the heartache.
