William "Bill" Podor

Age 76 of Summerville, SC. Passed away, March 13, 2026, surrounded by his family and treasured dog Barnaby Sherlock. Bill spent more than thirty years as a Human Resources Executive at Chrysler. An avid golfer and an all-around good hang—especially if margaritas were on hand—Bill brought warmth and humor wherever he went. Above all, Bill valued family and friends; he was always there to support the people he loved. Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda; his brother, Bob Podor; and his loving parents, John and Helen Podor. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his daughters, Audrey and Jaclyn; his son, Matthew; and his stepchildren, Antoinette and Jon. Bill is survived by his sister-in-laws, Rosemary (Michael) Stephens and Dorothy (Curt) Ruppel; and brothers-in-law Dennis (Denise) Gerlica and Kenneth (Dee) Gerlica. He was a cherished cousin of Rebekah (Jim) Orr and is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will miss him greatly.

Visitation for Bill will be held on Sunday, March 22, 3-7 p.m. at the Pixley Funeral Home in Rochester (322 W. University Dr.) Funeral Instate will take place at St. Mary of the Hills Catholic Church, 2675 John R. Road, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48307, on March 23, 2026, at 10:30 am, followed by the Funeral at 11:00 am.
