Wallin, William R. “Dick”, age 84, resident of Rochester, passed away on Thursday May 21, 2015. He was born in Chicago, IL on August 3, 1930. He graduated from Lane Tech in Chicago and went on to further his education at Miami University where he was the president of his fraternity Delta Tau Delta and graduated with a bachelor’s degree. He married Millie (Nee McArthur) in June of 1952. Dick was a Captain in the US Navy and served in the Reserves for over 25 years. Dick and Millie were blessed with four children; William (Judy), Peter (Juli), David (Dawn), and the late Jack. Dick is also survived by his grandchildren; Melissa, Mitchell, Alex, and his sister Linda Brownson. Memorial visitation will be held on Friday May 29, 2015 at 11am with a memorial service at noon held at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr. Rochester, MI 48307. In lieu of flowers memorial donations suggested to Doctors without borders, 333 7th Avenue New York, NY 10001-5004.
