

Anthony J.DeFeo, passed away peacefully, on March 7, 2017, at age 86. He was born in Rochester on July 12, 1930 and graduated from Jefferson High School in 1948. Following graduation Tony served in the US Navy aboard the Destroyer USS Barton, DD722 and was also stationed Stateside. He was honorably discharged as a Petty Officer Third Class Gunners Mate in 1950. He worked for RG&E for over 30 years as a Meter Repairman in the Gas Meter Shop.
Tony loved to golf, fish, travel and putter around but most of all, he loved his time with his family.
He is survived by his children: Laurie DeFeo and Tim (Jeanine) DeFeo; Grandchild: David (Suzanne) & their children Brittan & Ashley; Grandchildren: Michael, Andrew & Lyndsay; Brother-in-law, Frank (Rita) Amorese; Sister-in-law, Josephine DeFeo as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
Predeceased by his beloved wife, Louise; brother Ernie DeFeo and Sister, Lillian DeFeo Lombardo.
Friends and Family may call from 4:00-7:00p.m. on Friday, March 10th at the Funeral Home of ALVAH HALLORAN & SON 2125 Chili Ave, Gates NY. Inurnment will take place in Florida at a later date.
