Dorothy Irene Newell

Our mom, grandma, great-grandma, wife, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Dorothy Newell, has left us after two and a half years of fighting a hard fight against dementia. The “Long Goodbye,” her “Johnny Bull” attitude pulled her through two triple by-passes, heart valve replacement, back and shoulder surgeries and a bout with Covid. She never quit fighting.

A private burial ceremony will take place at gravesite with immediate family only.

A celebration of her life will be held in early summer with family and friends. Information will be sent out at a later date.
