Ellen Coffey (Schoen) of Chili, peacefully went home to be with the Lord, Friday, December 27, 2013 at age 82. She joins in Heaven her husband of 54 years, Edward; and granddaughter, Bridget. She is survived by her children, Christine Coffey, Jane (Tim) Witz, Robert (Karen) Coffey, Glenn Coffey, Daniel Coffey, Joseph (Annie) Coffey, Edward (Elizabeth) Coffey, Jr., Mary (Darrel) Rathbun, and John (Susan) Coffey; grandchildren, Melissa, Allison, Katie, Christopher, Sara, Alysia, Elisabeth, Danielle, Lindsay, Noah, Jared, and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Landon, Willem, and Frederick. She is also survived by many dear friends from the Holy Ghost and St. Theodore parishes, and the Chili Senior Center.
Friends may call Monday, 4-7pm at the funeral home of ALVAH HALLORAN & SON, 2125 Chili Ave. Funeral Mass, Tuesday, 10am at Holy Ghost Church, 250 Coldwater Rd. Interment, Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, consider honoring Ellen by donating blood or contributing to the American Red Cross or a charity of your choice.
