On Dec. 13, 2020, F. Ruby Brown passed away peacefully in her sleep, at the age of 92, at The Brightonian, in Rochester, NY. She grew up in Lakeville, NY, and lived many years in York, NY.
For her final years, we thank all the staff at Westwood Commons for the care they gave her, and we thank the Brightonian staff for her care for her final days. She is survived by her three children, Susan (Douglas) Garno, Stephen (Deb) Crawford , and Ruth Habicht. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren, two sisters, and a large extended family.
At her request, and due to Covid, there will be no visitation, and a private funeral for immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor her may make a donation to a charity of their choice or to the York United Presbyterian Church, 2662 Main St, York, NY 14592.
