

Jamesine "Jamie" Renee Williams, age 57, of Fairport, NY, passed away peacefully on March 3rd, 2026, surrounded by loving family and friends. Born on July 12, 1968, she was a beacon of warmth and generosity to all who knew her.
Jamie was born in Binghamton, NY where she attended high school. She received her BS in Zoology with a minor in Chemistry from Howard University. She received her MD from Syracuse University. She worked as a OBGYN at Unity Health and later at Rochester Regional Health.
Jamie was known for her unwavering dedication to family, friends, and career, touching many lives through her spirit, compassion, and sense of humor. She enjoyed traveling, skiing, being outdoors and treasured every moment spent with family and friends.
She is survived by her two children, Sydney and Henry Clark and her nieces Jordan Williams and Melanie Barron and nephews Jeffrey Fisher and Isaiah Reid who will carry her memory in their hearts forever. She was preceded in death by her late husband Scott M. Clark, her parents Frank and Althea Williams, her brother Frankie Williams and her mother-in-law Carolyn Clark.
The family will receive relatives and friends during calling hours on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 4 -7PM at Alvah Halloran & Son Funeral Home, 2125 Chili Ave., Rochester, NY 14624. A celebration of Jamie’s life will be held privately.
Jamie’s legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
In lieu of flowers, those who knew and loved Jamie are invited to honor her life by participating in the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester's annual walk on Saturday, May 9, a cause that was very close to her heart. Through this organization, Jamie found meaningful peer support and formed lasting friendships, many of whom stood beside her throughout her six-year journey with metastatic lobular breast cancer. Friends, family, colleagues, and patients are encouraged to walk in her memory and continue her legacy by supporting a community that gave her so much.

Jamie was truly a ray of sunshine— steadfastly positive, deeply compassionate, and open-hearted to all she met. As an OB/GYN physician, she was beloved by her patients, who felt her warmth and dedication in every interaction. Her light lives on in the countless lives she touched.
