Lloyd James Bach

Lloyd J. Bach (Bud) passed away on September 14, 2015, aged 86. Predeceased by his parents Dorothy and Lloyd S. Bach, he is survived by his wife of 62 years, Olive; children: Lindsay of Fort Washington, MD; Jonathan (Donna); Lloyd (Colleen) of Webster; Jennifer (Craig Davis), of Parker, CO; and his seven grandchildren: Daniel, Andrea, Elizabeth, William, Alexander, Griffin and Skye. In addition, he is survived by sisters Dianne East (James) and Marlene Pignone, and many nieces and nephews. A resident of Webster, NY since 1958, Lloyd served in the U.S. Army in Germany, 1950 -1952; graduated from the University of Rochester; and after 40 years’ employment, retired from Eastman Kodak in 1986. He was an avid sailor and a longtime member of Sodus Bay Yacht Club. A lifelong lover of music, he sang with the Rochester Saenger Chor and served as its president for many years. He also sang with the Genesee Valley Orchestra and Chorus. A memorial service will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Webster on Saturday, October 10th at 11 AM.
