

Tom was born on January 3, 1934, in Rochester, New York to Howard & Henrietta Coffey. Tom has a total of 8 brothers and sisters. He is survived by 2 sisters, one brother, 9 children (and their spouses), nieces & nephews, 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several friends.
In 1970, Tom & Margaret met, they have been married for 47 years. Together, they were the parents of 9 children that they successfully raised. Tom was also a father & grandpa figure to many others. He was a devoted spouse, parent, grandpa, papa, and great-grandpa always putting his family first and cherishing every moment spent with them.
He was a committed, loyal, dedicated employee of the Wilmorite Corporation for 37 years before retiring in 2011.
Tom was also known for being an avid bull rider in his younger years. His rodeo stories were admired by all who knew him.
No matter the place or the time, Tom was always known for his courageous smile, his storytelling, his desire to make others laugh with his jokes, and his colorful and unfiltered way of speaking. His passion for woodworking was evident in everything he did. Because of his love for woodworking, he spent countless hours with Margaret making wood crafts for others to enjoy.
Tom will be deeply missed by his family, friends, caretakers, and his two dogs Coco and Bella.
The family would like for all to please take a moment to reflect on the many ways Tom touched our lives, the impact he had on those around him, and the lessons we can learn from his time with us. May we all find comfort in knowing that he will never truly be gone as long as we keep his memory alive in our hearts and minds.
Please join the family on Saturday, June 7, 2025, for a memorial service at North Bloomfield Cemetery-1941 NY-65, Honeoye Falls, NY 14472 at 12noon following will be a celebration of Tom's life at the Lima American Legion 2475 NY-65, Bloomfield, NY 14469 from 1:00-6:00 PM.
